Montanya Oro is a golden American craft rum made using sugar cane grown in Louisiana and aged in Crested Butte, located 9,000ft above sea level in the Colorado mountains.

Oro is aged for a year in American white oak barrels used to store local whiskey. This creates a full-bodied blend with plenty of oaky flavour. Oro’s flavour profile of coffee, toffee, chocolate and pineapple is achieved with no added sugars, molasses or artificial flavourings.

Montanya is diluted using mountain spring water located from an aquifer directly underneath the barrel house and is finished with a touch of Colorado honey, which enhances the natural flavours found in the rum.

Perfect Serve – Oro tastes great in any tropical rum punch, and it is very well-suited to a sweet rum hot chocolate – a naughty winter warmer!
